To make this, I opened up a new image on Gimp. Next I used the text tool to type in the word "bubble". After that, I chose a pattern from the Pattern Dialog. I used the Bucket Fill tool to color the word. I then went to the Filters menu, clicked on Distorts, and clicked on Curve Bend. I messed around until I got the curve that made the word look like an actual bubble. When I did that, I was finished.
